MONSOON

23" x 23" shade designed by Yui Yoshida of California. After completing the shade, using Youghiogheny and Uroboros glass, the artist designed the base in the shape of a turtle - representing long life. The base was constructed by Jim Hatfield using a specialized method of connecting the red oak without using either glue or nails.
