Tea Roses

The rose, "Diana, Princess of Wales" growing in Portland's Rose Garden, was the inspiration for this 20" design by Judy Kinney Tidrick, Beaverton, Oregon. The artist used Uroboros glass to fabricate her brilliant design showcasing the flower at different angles and in various stages of development. Base by Odyssey.

This design by Conti Studios was fabricated by Dan LaBerge of Gig Harbor, Washington, who chose Oceana glass to depict the glowing flowers in his 20" shade. Uroboros was used for the softly-hued background and a variety of glass by Youghiogheny was chosen for the leaves. Base by Odyssey.

Leaf & Ladybug (Below)

An interestingly wide variety of colors and shapes found in nature's ladybugs led Masako Akasaka of Chiba, Japan, to design this innovative work. The artist crafted the 8" shade from Lins, Uroboros and Chicago Art Glass. Base by Classic American Lighting.
